Chanel Preston's is pissed. Her daughter, Scarlet, is a straight-A student but since she started taking Charlotte Stokely's class, her grades have dropped to a C. Charlotte, Scarlet's teacher, listens attentively, but is not in the mood for anyone's shit. She informs Chanel that her daughter is gay, and that perhaps the fact that she can't confide in her own mother might be the result of her lackluster grades.
